The cut-off date for hotel room reservations at the conference rate of $103 is Monday, August 15, 2008. Hotel lodging costs are separate and are the responsibility of the attendees.

CANCELLATION POLICY - PLEASE READ CAREFULLY: You will be charged a $10 cancellation fee for any conference registration cancelled before August 8, 2008, 5:00pm CST. There will be no refunds for cancellations after August 8, 2008. However, registrations are transferable, and substitutions at any time are allowed and recommended. All cancellations and/or substitutions must be mailed or faxed to the 2008 Governor's Conference address and fax listed above. Refunds must be requested in writing by August 8, 2008 and will be mailed after the conference. A $10 cancellation fee will be deducted. The Hawthorn Foundation is a not-for-profit corporation and does not assume any liability for any injuries to persons or property that might arise out of, or during the course of the Governor's Conference on Economic Development or any activities carried on by private groups during the conference. Registration at the conference constitutes a release of Hawthorn Foundation from any and all claims registrant may have against said corporation in connection with said conference.
