Missouri Economic Development Academy
04/28/2005 - 04/29/2005 Location: Harry S. Truman Building, Room 400
The Missouri Economic Development Academy is a series of seminars designed to enhance the project management skills of community economic development staff, establish a uniform project management methodology and increase both the volume of projects, as well as our "win" ratio. The first session, Sales 101, will be held April 28-29, 2005 and will focus specifically on preparation for and response to an RFI/RFP, data sources, site visit protocols, incentive negotiations, and working with state agency staff and other partners. Two national site consultants will join us for an interactive session to discuss what should and shouldn't happen with a project.
Deadline for registration for Session 1 is April 15th. Registration form. Cost is $40 per person. Session 2 will be held July 21-22 and will focus on incentives and legislative changes. For additional information, contact Sharon Gulick at (573) 751-4892 or Sharon Gulick.
