Census Block Groups by County
These maps reflect all block groups in the county. Some may qualify individually, based on statutory Enhanced Enterprise Zone criteria of poverty (POV) rate of 60% or more. However, when combining any block groups together, there is, by statute, additional weighting criteria, that is factored into the equation. In addition, some census data is broken into more levels than one per block group. In order to match up the mapping data with the block group data, the program can only match one entry. Therefore, where there are additional levels in a block group, only one is mapped. As a result, these block groups may or may not qualify but will give each county a visual starting point for creating an Enhanced Enterprise Zone.
